Paris is just the Beginning

World leaders were unanimous in voicing their shock and surprise over last night’s terror assault that took the lives of over 125 innocent persons.  Really? They were shocked? Maybe saddened, outraged, sickened, broken-hearted, but certainly they shouldn’t have been shocked. If they were reading and understanding their Bibles they would know that Paris is just the beginning. If they were even honestly reading their newspapers they would know this movement of evil is growing. Also in all the multitude of condolence messages from leaders around the world, I didn’t see one, not one, that referenced a crying out to God to help. Do they think they can control the coming Beast on their own? I guess they do.

So what should be the response of Christians? I think if we look at the response of world leaders, it should be the exact opposite response!

No Fear

Germany’s foreign minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier, one of the “shocked” national leaders said “the extent of the horror exceeds everyone’s imagination.” He called the attacks, “an inferno of terror.” Although most leaders pledged to not let the terrorists create a climate of fear, all of their comments reflected just the opposite.

Jesus, who was not surprised by last night’s attack had this to say:

When you hear of wars and disturbances, do not be terrified; for these things must take place first, but the end does not follow immediately. (Luke 21: 9)

Jesus foresaw an ever rising level of civil unrest that our English translators call “disturbances” in the verse above. Jesus knows this is coming. He knows the natural response is to allow it to terrify us. That is specifically why he says “do not be terrified.”

He gives us two reasons why we shouldn’t be terrified:

  • These things must take place before his return. They are prophesied so when we see them we should be reminded that he is coming soon and take heart! He has overcome the world.
  • He tells us that the end does not follow immediately. Jesus isn’t coming tomorrow, there is much work to be done. That is to be our response, to work for the Kingdom that is coming.

Jesus is very clear that we are not to worry about these things:

Do not fear those who kill the body but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.  Are not two sparrows sold for a cent? And yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So do not fear; you are more valuable than many sparrows. (Matt. 10: 28-31)

We are not to react like the world, but to walk in confidence in the face of terror. Terrorists cannot touch you without the permission of the Father above. Are we to be wise as serpents and innocent as doves, yes we are. But we are not to fear. Immediately before this verse, Jesus tells us what we should be doing instead of cowering in back rooms:

What I tell you in the darkness, speak in the light; and what you hear whispered in your ear, proclaim upon the housetops. (Matt. 10:27)

So the bottom line is: don’t be afraid, but rather be about the Father’s business with even more intensity.  We are to be REVIVALISTS NOT SURVIVALISTS. Our personal safety is not our primary goal.

This is very difficult teaching. Are you hearing this from the pulpit of your church? If not your church might not be prepared for what Jesus says “must take place” before the end.  Churches are asleep around the world. Watch this short  2 minute video:

Speak the Truth in Love

Spanish Prime Minister Mariano said: “We aren’t facing a war of religions, but a battle between civilization and barbarism. They may hurt us, but they can’t beat us.” Really? Religion has nothing to do with an Islamic attack? Just wait Mr. Mariano, you ain’t seen nothing yet.

Nadir Kahia of Paris’ Banlieue Plus community association says its members are shocked by the attacks but in their wake “we know some Muslims and poor neighborhoods” will be subjected to hate speech.” Really? Poor Allah, being blamed for all this violence. Maybe Mr. Kahia, Allah should have chosen to not put all those calls for violence in his Quran.

The 70th Week of Daniel that is coming is a struggle between two messiahs, the true Messiah and a false messiah who will be Islamic. If you are not aware that the Antichrist will be Islamic, pick up Joel Richardson’s awesome book Mideast Beast. When the Mahdi and Isa, the Muslim Jesus, arise, they will call all Muslims, even those who are currently peaceful, to jihad. Most will follow their Caliph. Ask your Muslim friends what they will do when their Mahdi and Isa arise. Ask them what they will do when the call to “purify” those who refuse Isalm is made.

We should never leave the conversation there, however.

We should always give the alternative to Islam which is Jesus. See this article OUTREACH NOT OUTRAGE for more teaching on this incredibly important subject. Jesus is the Messiah of love and peace. We are to be his ambassadors which means we are to represent him here on this earth.  Always we are to be wise as serpents but gentle as doves. The bottom line is to speak the truth, but speak it in love.

The Paris Attacks are yet just another sign that we cannot live our lives blissfully unaware of what Jesus has warned us to prepare for. We need to enter the “two minute warning;” our lives must change. We must live being ambassadors for Christ. Start by reading Are We Ready For Jesus and share one copy with your pastor. Time is short.

  1. Thanx Nelson. Makes sense.

If you are right that the thunders are messages somehow conveyed by God to those left behind after the rapture, could they be for the non-Messianic Jews left behind, and/or for those people who are not followers of Jesus, yet have not taken the mark and have helped and sheltered Christians and Jews during the tribulation? All those could surely use some divine guidance, warning and counsel when Gods wrath is poured out – if only to keep some of them alive to reach the second coming of Jesus…

    Does this make sense?

  2. I second what Matthew writes above. We do see what countries do openly in the end. But what we usually do not see is what really happens inside before they do something openly. Governments, whether democratic, autocratic or theocratic, are often large official bureaucracies, with complex informal power structures running inside and outside of it. With much power struggles and manipulation between different factions.

Within one country, a faction may support ISIS, another may work diligently against it. One group may welcome Iran, a second may want to fight it tooth and nail. Yet another manipulates to try to turn ISIS and Iran against each other. And so on…

Maybe the last approach is strong in the USA, that would be in accordance with Matthews suggestion.

I too like to theorize how things will happen. But how the biblical things will happen… God knows. And then again, even in the bible there is more than a hint that God has hidden not just some small details for us, but even some major things… Seven of them, to be exact.

Only John himself heard what the seven thunder claps said. He was allowed to write down about them though – not what they said, but that they spoke. I guess to keep us humble, to let us know that we do not know everything. And maybe this secrecy is necessary too because there are a few things that satan should not know beforehand.

If the seven thunderclaps are of the same order as the seven seals, seven trumpets and seven bowls, then we are missing something huge indeed. If only because thunderclaps are usually louder than trumpets, they might be even greater than those…

    1. Adam, you are so corrct that we do not know everything. Scripture is 25% prophecy, however, and God did put it there for a reason. The reason is so his saints can prepre for those things they do know about. So we should prepare spiritually, emotioinally and physically as we are led with the knowledge that we have incomplete information. As the day gets closer, more will become obvious.

Now in regard to the 7 Thunders, this prophecy is found in Rev. 10 which is a parenthetical section (not in chronologic order after Rev. 9). IMO, these thunders are for the unrighteous, left behind after the resurrection and rapture of the Church that happens at the end of the sixth year of the 70th Week. This information isn’t needed by the Church and that is why John was told not to write it down (IMO). Why do I think this way? The “strong angel” coming down out of heaven clothed with a clould is Jesus in my opinion and the opinion of many others. The scroll that had just been opened in his hand is the 7 sealed scroll which opens in Rev. 6-8:1. Even if this is just an angel, the scroll is already open and the resurrection/rapture has already happened. It is my opinion that the seven thunders are linked to the seven trumpets (but we cannot know that for sure.) You notice that during the “days” (multiple days) of the “voice” of the 7th angel when he is about to sound his trumpet (that is the Greek word) the mystery of God is finally completely revealed. So the 7th trumpet is linked to the voice of the 7th angel and IMO this is the 7th Thunder. It makes sense that other trumpet angels also have voices and are the other thunders, but that is an educated guess. I personally think the Thunders are the revealing of knowledge to the unrighteous still on the earth. That is why the “mystery” of God is finished and completely revealed prior to the seventh trumpet sounding. Either way, it appears highly unlikely this revelation of “mystery” is for the Church as it occurs during the Trumpets that we don’t experience. At least that is my best guess.

  3. Nelson,

You must have a care to be absolutely 100 percent accurate when posting on your blog. The demonstration that you pictured did not happen immediately after the massacre on the weekend.

I also had the opportunity to read another article that pointed to the countries of Saudi Arabia, Quatar, UEA and Kuwait as being major sources of funding for ISIS.If Iran invades these countries, I do not necessarily think the U.S. will be powerless to stop them. I think they may well be standing back and letting it happen. Many of events prophesied for the end times will not happen in the way even those who are following events think they will.

    God bless.

    1. Matthew, I got the reference from an alternative media post on Saturday morning. Today that post is down. I removed that section from the article. Thanks for the heads up. I certainly don’t want to be the one leading anyone astray.

As far as things not happening the way we think: to that I say AMEN. What is written in the Bible will happen. How it will happen is anyone’s guess.

  4. Bonsoir Nelson,

You write: “If they were reading and understanding their Bibles they would know that Paris is just the beginning”.

Unfortunately, very few people in France read their Bible. Since the French revolution in the late 18th century, France has bee, a secular country. The Elohim of the Bible is not part of the French scene anymore. This is very unfortunate, and what we are experiencing, and I fully agree with you, it is just the beginning, is mainly due to our nation rejecting Yahweh.

It saddens our hearts to see these massacres. The saddest and the worse is that in the news we read on the internet this morning, nowhere could we read the words “muslim” or even “islam” in the reports. Daesh was mentioned here and there, and we read one report saying that one killer cried the name of his god before killing people, but apart from that I sense that the press is doing all it can so that muslims or islam stay out of the picture.

This saddens our hearts because the only way to fight this beast that islam is, is to call it like it is and to tell the truth about it. Sadly, very very few people in France have the courage to call the cat a cat.😟

Here’s what we are going to see in the next few days: muslim officials going to the President office to tell France, Islam has nothing to do with what happened, it is a religion of peace and tolerance, the press is going to say it high and loud. I also bet we’ll see the the islamophobia flag being waved, and that all the people who will stand for the truth are going to be ostracised and called islamophobes.

All this shows how weak we are. This weakness surely will seal our future. It is highly likely that France and Europe will be under sharia law in the future. This is a very high possibility that we will face sooner or later.

The situation in France is more dire than people may think.

The terrorists acts we saw yesterday were coordinated, but we can clearly see that the killers were not “professionals”. Three terrorists with bomb belts attacked the “stade de France” where François Hollande was attending a football match. Only 4 people were killed, including the 3 terrorists who detonated their bomb belts. It could have been a lot worse. We can easily imagine what 3 terrorists with bombs could have caused in a football stadium filled with 60 to 80 thousand people…

Thank you Abba for the intervention of your angels.

Now imagine if the 800 + cities of France (where the police do not go anymore and where sharia rules) decide to coordinate simultaneous riots together. What could the police and the army do?
Absolutely nothing. Imagine the chaos we would see in France!

Now imagine that the army is called to fight in some of these town. I was talking with a friend of mine the other day who told me that he has some friends who are officers in the army. In some army corps, the percentage of muslims soldiers reach 70% ! Yes, you have read well. 70%.
What will happen when these army corps are sent to burning cities? Will these muslim soldiers obey their officer orders and fight the rioters or will they side with their muslim brothers? The answer is evident.

All these “imagines” is exactly what we will get sooner or later. Once again, the future of France and Europe is dire. The end time beast is emerging and its spirit is growing bigger and bigger day after day. We had a glimpse of it in action in January…we had another one yesterday evening. The worse is yet to come…
It is just a matter of time before the end of time beast swallows France and Europe up.

    France will needs spiritual fighters.

The good news is that, just like in American movies, it’s the good guys who win at the end! We are His good people. We have victory in Him. May YHVH be praise and glorified ALWAYS! 🙌

    In His Love and Shalom,

  5. I’m amazed at how many Christians seem to be surprised by this. People have.been posting things all over facebook expressing their shock and outrage. Why do you think Jesus said these things “must happen”? Is it God’s will for these things to happen? Could he not return to the earth if these things didn’t happen?

    1. Glad you asked the question about “things that must happen.” This is actually a reference used by Jesus of one of the most famous sections of the bible. This phrase opens and closes Daniel’s interpretation of Nebuchadnezzar’s dream of the statue of 4 metals. John later used it to open and close the book of Revelation. My unpublished book explains these “bookend” phrases and others in Revelation Deciphered. So Jesus using the phrase here is showing that these things are part of God’s plan to wrest Satan’s dominion away from him and restore it to its rightful owners Christ and the saints. So you are correct, he can’t return until everything written is fulfilled.

  6. Nelson, one of your comments resonated with me-“Maybe Mr. Kahia, Allah should have chosen to not put all those calls for violence in his Quran.” People will not understand these acts of violence until they know what the Quran says to those who follow it. Good article.
